You’ll learn how to install, maintain and repair electrical systems across our network, combining hands-on experience with classroom training. Over four years, you’ll gain a Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification, developing skills in wiring, testing, fault-finding, safety and emerging technologies like EV charging and renewables. Earn while you learn, work alongside experienced engineers, and help power the North West’s future. On completion, you’ll become a fully qualified electrician, with opportunities to progress into specialist roles in renewable energy, EV charging and smart networks. As your experience grows, you could advance into team leader, supervisor or engineering roles within ENW or across the wider energy industry. Many apprentices also go on to become chartered engineers or self-employed contractors — the skills you gain open doors across the power sector and beyond.
