About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3 qualified) to join a nurturing early years setting. You will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years
* Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with EYFS guidelines
* Support children’s learning through play-based experiences
* Observe, assess, and record children’s development
* Build strong relationships with parents/carers and provide feedback
* Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
* Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
* Work collaboratively with team members and management
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years
* Good understanding of the EYFS framework
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Passion for working with young children
Desirable:
* Paediatric First Aid qualification
* Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
* Knowledge of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
