Solicitor - Commercial Property - Cheltenham - NQ-1 Year PQE
Location: Cheltenham
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (hybrid flexibility available)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience)
A well established, nationally recognised law firm is seeking an NQ-1 year PQE Solicitor to join its highly regarded Commercial Property team in Cheltenham. This opportunity offers exposure to high quality, varied commercial property work within a supportive, ambitious and people focused environment.
The Role
You will handle a diverse caseload and support senior lawyers across a broad range of commercial property matters, including:
* Buying, selling, leasing and development work
* Transactions across sectors such as retail, industrial, education, healthcare and rural estates
* Working closely with a Partner specialising in Education Property, including academy conversions, transfers and independent school mergers
* Advising clients on a wide range of commercial property issues
* Building strong internal and external relationships and contributing to business development
* Ensuring excellent technical standards and compliance
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a newly qualified solicitor or someone with up to 1 year PQE who can demonstrate:
* Experience in commercial property through a training contract seat and/or paralegal role
* Strong technical and drafting skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and maintain strong client relationships
* High attention to detail and strong commercial awareness
* A proactive, organised and ambitious approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
