We are looking for a Boost / Learning Academy Officer to join Boost - the North-East and North Cumbria ICB's learning and improvement community. Boost is not just a programme or a training offer; it is a shared system-wide movement that brings together people working across health, social care, local government, the voluntary sector and communities to learn together, improve together and lead change together.

As a Boost / Learning Academy Officer, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering this ambition.
* Help design, deliver and evaluate high-quality learning, leadership and improvement programmes
* Support and sustain communities of practice across health and care
* Coach and support individuals and teams on their improvement journey
About us
Our Integrated Care Board (ICB) is the largest in the country.
The ICB is responsible for ensuring that high quality and safe health services are accessible to all of our communities. It has a wide range of functions, including; promoting integration of health and care services, improving peoples health and well-being, reducing health inequalities.
With a £6.6 billion budget and a workforce of 170,000 people across the North East and North Cumbria. As well as strategic functions, ICB staff also work at place level with local health and wellbeing boards in each of our 14 local authority areas. These teams also work alongside our 67 primary care networks which are groups of local GP practices, social care teams and other community- based area providers.
The ICB works with our Provider Collaborative too, this includes the 11 NHS Foundation Trusts in the region, to deliver our shared priorities.
Job responsibilities
* Facilitate learning with diverse groups, often across organisational and professional boundaries
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, partners and the public in the spirit of co-production
* This is a varied and influential role, combining strategic thinking with hands on delivery. You will use organisational development and improvement approaches to help teams work better together and create lasting change
Qualifications
* Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
* ILM 5 coaching and mentoring qualification
* Post graduate level qualification in leadership, OD, HR or similar
* Qualification or experience in quality improvement science
Experience
* Experience of working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders e.g. managers/ clinicians/ and staff at all levels.
