Would you like the opportunity to work toward the level 3 Standards in Pharmacy and become a Pharmacy Technician?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may be interested in a 26-month training scheme managed by the North School of Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation, Health Education England, in conjunction with the Trust.
The opportunity offers 26 months of comprehensive training in all aspects of pharmacy services on a rotational basis.
Successful candidates will undertake a Pharmacy Technician (Integrated) Apprenticeship while training in the workplace (NHS Hospital). The training combines virtual classroom learning and on-the-job experience. You will be expected to dedicate personal time to complete assignments. This training enables candidates to gain the knowledge and skills required to apply for registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician.
Candidates should be highly organized, possess good interpersonal and communication skills, be quick learners, eager to get involved, and committed to the training program. They should also be able to handle the discipline of studying while working as part of a busy team.
To be considered for a Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician interview, you must meet all essential criteria, including:
1. 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English Language, Maths, and two Sciences.
