Production Team Leader£35,000Halesowen (B62)39 hours over 4 days (Monday to Thursday).Our client is part of a multi-billion euro global manufacturing business.They are currently seeking an experienced Team Leader to take ownership for a production area within its clean manufacturing facility in Halesowen (B62).This is a hands-on leadership role with real accountability, you will be responsible for a team of ten operators and assemblers, driving performance across quality, cost, delivery and safety. The business operates to a continuous improvement culture and expects its Team Leaders to lead from the front, develop their people and maintain high standards day in, day out.What you will doLead your team to meet daily and weekly production targets in line with the manufacturing plan, taking full accountability for quality, output and housekeeping standardsManage attendance, performance and timekeeping, conducting absence reviews and addressing issues promptlySchedule production activity and coordinate rough stock delivery in line with the production planCoach, mentor and develop team members fostering a culture of continuous improvementLiaise with internal functions including quality, engineering, planning and stores to resolve issues and maintain workflowChampion a zero-incident safety culture across your areaWhat you will bringMinimum three to five years' experience leading people in a manufacturing or production environmentNVQ Level 4 in management or equivalent qualificationWorking knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma principlesStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities on the shop-floorA direct, confident communication style and the credibility to hold people to accountTo apply, please send your CV to Gary SimpsonTPBN1_UKTJ
