I am currently recruiting for a well-respected Chartered Accountancy firm based in Northallerton, who are seeking a part qualified/qualified accountant to join their friendly team.
The type of individual we are looking for must be a good team player, have a can-do attitude, are keen to learn and be self-motivated. Excellent attention to detail is required and good communications skills are essential. A minimum level 6 in GCSE Mathematics and GCSE English and AAT Level 4 or above is required.
For this role, the main duties will include:
1. Preparation of sole trader, partnership, limited company, and any other accounts from manual and/or electronic records
2. Prepare and present financial statements on our software
3. Preparation of capital allowances computations, personal, partnership and company tax returns
4. Review if any further services can be provided to increase fee income or areas to enhance client service
5. Provide advice and support to other Accountants and Trainees when required
