NHS Glasgow Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is the largest NHS Health Organisation in Scotland, providing acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of 1.3 million plus, and delivering regional and national services to more than half of Scotland’s population. The area covered is diverse, encompassing 6 HSCPs, with an annual revenue budget of approximately £4.4 billion and a capital budget of £98m.

The Acute Division delivers significant healthcare services, and to continue improving our key inputs, we require a Head of Planned Care Transformation.
You will support performance improvement and patient access to planned care, leading service transformation to meet local and national access targets.
You will lead initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency, including outpatient services and our extensive theatre programme, seeking best practices and developing a whole-system approach.
You will assist in developing the annual delivery plan and support the Director of Access in fulfilling commitments across all aspects of planned care.
You will build relationships with the SGHD National Access team and colleagues from CfSD to ensure continuous improvement in planned care delivery across acute services.
