Team – Learning and Development

Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality Stockport Office. Full time, xx hours per week.

What this role is all about:

As a Learning and Development Consultant (Sales) at Vitality, your main focus will be designing and delivering digital learning solutions that support our sales teams. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and create engaging, effective training that blends online tools with in-person sessions

Key Actions

4. We want you to inspire and equip our sales and retention teams to achieve outstanding results. This will include a variety of areas, such as relationship and influencing skills, comprehensive product knowledge, systems, best practice, and compliance
5. You will work with sales and retention managers as their L&D Business Partner to understand what excellence requires in their areas, delivering regular new starter inductions and high-performance initiatives that combine live training with digital solutions
6. You have a deep passion for high quality, consultative sales, with an expert understanding of what this entails, comfortable with training multiple products and you work well in a fast-paced, innovative environment with regular change
7. You have outstanding communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage and motivate, adapting to different audiences. You take the complex and make it accessible, compelling, and memorable
8. You have a commanding grasp of a blending live training and digital solutions, with a strong understanding of how different mediums and formats can deliver better outcomes. Your approach to technology is one of initiative and independence, continually striving to enhance your abilities and output
9. Visual design is a tool you use with high impact, to create influence and powerful learning, especially using software such as PowerPoint and Rise (or similar).
10. You will ensure that your learning interventions meet an agreed framework, encompassing compliance, T&C requirements, business strategy, messaging, and desired behaviours
11. Your organisational skills and attention for detail make for strong project management

What do you need to thrive?

12. You have experience delivering engaging inductions and training for sales teams.
13. You're confident presenting and creating content, and you know how to lead discussions that make learning stick.
14. You've designed and delivered training on topics like relationship building, influencing, sales techniques, and soft skills.
15. You’re skilled in digital learning tools like PowerPoint, Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, or similar platforms
