Office location: This is a home-based role in Cornwall, with a requirement to work approximately once a week from an office at a local partner agency in Cornwall or our local office: Suite 1, First Floor, Argosy House, Longbridge Road Plymouth PL6 8LD

Work schedule: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with a requirement to work 10:15am to 6:15pm one day per week on a rota basis
Salary: £26,010 per annum plus £350 per annum Home Working Allowance

About the role:
This role is home-based and is open to applicants living in Cornwall who have access to a confidential workspace. Regular travel will be required to our office in Plymouth & throughout Cornwall, with occasional travel to Devon. Usual working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with coverage required 1 day per week from 10:15am to 6:15pm on a rota basis, and occasional outside hours may be necessary.
As a Caseworker, you will:
* Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime who accept ongoing support, including providing resources, interventions, and information
* Oversee the casework management of volunteer supporters
* Liaise with local providers to share information and options for victims and survivors
* Use a case management system to maintain accurate records and contribute to monitoring outcomes
* Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide seamless service
You will need:
* An understanding of the impact of crime on victims, such as domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, and anti-social behaviour
* Effective communication skills
* Experience in delivering services within statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency settings
* Ability to prioritize and manage a caseload, including complex cases
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong relationship-building skills across stakeholders
* Resilience to manage emotional or sensitive demands
* Proficiency with IT applications
* A driving license and access to a vehicle for regular travel
