Hybrid working from our office in Durham, from home and our properties across the North East
Permanent, full time 37.5 hpw Monday to Friday
£42,636 per annum plus van and great benefits including matching pension contributions and up to 34 days leave

What you’ll do
1. Leading our trades team to deliver a right first time, whole job repair approach which is compliant and of high-quality.
2. Ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards, working within budget, KPI’s and service standards.
3. Ensuring our void properties are turned around quickly.
4. Successfully managing internal teams and sub-contractors in delivering on our customer promise

You have
5. An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in construction or if not, strong equivalent operational experience.
6. SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification and experience managing the health and safety of a direct workforce and contractors.
7. Great knowledge of housing repairs and improvements, including building regulations and working to specifications.
8. Experience of managing maintenance or construction teams, successfully delivering work programmes within time and budget, driving performance, productivity and quality.
9. A full current driving licence, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.

The practical bits
10. Working Monday to Friday, you’ll also take part in our out of hours service on a rota basis, receiving an additional generous on call payment of up to £211 per week.
11. You must be able to use technology for managing progress of works and budgets, complete online learning and collaborating with other colleagues.
12. You’ll need a Basic DBS and health check done and we pay for that.
