We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Early Help Administrator to join our Best Start in Life team on a 12 month fixed-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about supporting professionals to deliver high-quality services to children, young people and families in Bracknell.

About you…

You will be an organised, proactive, and friendly administrator who enjoys working in a busy, people‑focused environment. You will have strong administrative skills and be confident supporting a range of tasks, including diary management, meeting organisation, and providing frontline reception cover within Bracknell Forest’s Family Hubs.

You will communicate effectively, work well with colleagues and partner organisations, and be adaptable to changing priorities. Comfortable using digital systems and social media, you will share our values of being inclusive, ambitious, and always learning, and be motivated by supporting children, young people, and families.


About the team…

We are creating a new team to deliver the Best Start in Life initiative in Bracknell Forest.

You will support the team by welcoming families into the Rowans Best Start in Life Hub and working collaboratively with staff across services, partners and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operational delivery and an excellent family experience.

Your contribution will have a big impact on what we do and you will be trusted to take ownership of your work. The work is varied, fast‑paced and sometimes challenging, with opportunities to develop creative and innovative solutions.


Key responsibilities…

* Provide comprehensive, well organised and efficient administrative support to the Best Start in Life team, including diary management, minute taking, meeting organisation, document preparation, ordering of goods and services, data entry, collation and inventory management.
* Provide frontline reception cover, welcoming families to the Family Hubs.
* Support the team in running activities and groups for families and children, including shopping for, preparing and clearing refreshments and assisting team members in service delivery in the event of staffing difficulty.
* Support the scheduling, promotion and administration of parenting programmes delivered through Family Hubs both on and off-site.
* Liaise with facilitators, practitioners and Family Hub/Early Years staff to ensure smooth running of groups, courses and sessions.
* Ensure social media accounts are kept up to date to reflect our offer, expand reach and to maintain digital content, including internal platforms, BSIL communications and public facing resources.
