As a Senior Lettings Negotiator, you will be instrumental in delivering excellent results and maintaining Bourne Estate Agents’ reputation for quality. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Lettings Negotiator Leadership & Team Support: Guide and support junior lettings negotiators, acting as a mentor and role model for the Senior Lettings Negotiator team. Assist with onboarding and training new team members, helping them grow into successful negotiators. Work closely with the Lettings Manager to improve processes and boost performance through coaching and feedback from a Senior Lettings Negotiator perspective. Lettings Management & Negotiation: As a Senior Lettings Negotiator, manage a portfolio of rental properties, ensuring high occupancy rates and excellent landlord relationships. Lead negotiations, conduct rental valuations, and prepare tenancy agreements to secure successful lets. Arrange and carry out property viewings, securing tenants efficiently and professionally as a trusted Senior Lettings Negotiator. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants as a reliable Senior Lettings Negotiator. Act as the main point of contact for all client queries, resolving issues quickly and professionally to uphold the Senior Lettings Negotiator standard. Deliver outstanding customer service to secure repeat business and recommendations as a key Senior Lettings Negotiator. Business Development: Drive new instructions by identifying and engaging prospective landlords, expanding your reach as a Senior Lettings Negotiator. Attend viewings, valuations, and networking events to grow the client base. Contribute ideas to the lettings strategy and support wider business development goals as a proactive Senior Lettings Negotiator. Compliance & Administration: Ensure all property listings, tenancy paperwork, and agreements are accurate and compliant in your role as Senior Lettings Negotiator. Handle reference checks, inventories, and tenancy documents with care and attention to detail. Stay up-to-date with lettings legislation to ensure full compliance at all times as a responsible Senior Lettings Negotiator. Performance & Reporting: Meet and exceed individual and team lettings targets in your Senior Lettings Negotiator role. Track KPIs, report to management, and provide market insights. Recommend improvements and help implement solutions to support departmental success as a Senior Lettings Negotiator. What We’re Looking For in a Senior Lettings Negotiator Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a lettings role, ideally already at Senior Lettings Negotiator level or ready to step up. Proven leadership skills, with experience mentoring or guiding team members as a Senior Lettings Negotiator. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Confident using property management software (e.g., Reapit, Alto, or Jupix). Full UK driving licence preferred.
