In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving and delivering GTM motions tailored for the Postgres ecosystem, partnering closely with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing to shape our Postgres narrative, create impactful materials, and influence future roadmaps. You’ll collaborate to develop, drive, and execute effective marketing activities that power increased Postgres adoption and business growth. Location: We work in a flexible hybrid model, combining remote work with time together at our Cambridge office, depending on what best supports collaboration and delivery. A weekly visit to the office is typical Work schedule: You’ll work about 40 hours a week, with flexible work time. Your work at Redgate Software Lead GTM planning and execution for Postgres tooling, defining strategy, audience, key messages, and success metrics, and architecting end to end Postgres playbooks that can be absorbed by core Redgate teams. Turn insight into action by conducting Postgres specific market and competitive research, analysing customer feedback, and synthesising full funnel insights into actionable guidance for Product, Sales, and Marketing. Shape our messaging and positioning by translating product level GTMs into Postgres specific value propositions and objection handling; build a unified Postgres narrative across Redgate tools and keep messaging current as insights evolve. Develop and deliver sales enablement, including narratives, collateral, training and briefings for sales teams; build or update Postgres battlecards and enablement assets. Collaborate across Sales, Product, and Marketing, working with solutions specific PMMs to ensure launches and campaigns align to our wider product and GTM strategies and deliver measurable outcomes; partner with the Postgres team on campaign strategy, community credibility and sales follow up. Contribute to product & marketing strategy, sharing insight into Postgres buyer needs, market shifts and opportunities; align tightly with Postgres Engineering on roadmap, pricing and packaging; validate new features through beta programmes. Insights & commercial intelligence, including win/loss analysis, combining team and business insights into a single intelligence loop, and identifying friction points in the Postgres user journey. What experience are we seeking? Proven experience in product marketing or GTM roles within a B2B technology company or equivalent—ideally with database technologies or developer tools exposure. Ability to translate complex product capabilities into clear, customer focused value propositions for Postgres audiences. Strong communicator and collaborator, comfortable managing stakeholder expectations and aligning priorities across the organisation. Analytical mindset with experience using data, customer feedback and competitor analysis to guide decisions. Self starter with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders. Experience setting and reporting against metrics to measure and optimise GTM impact. Curiosity, creativity, and a continuous improvement mindset. Familiarity with tools such as Seismic, Salesforce, 6sense, Crayon, Marketo would be great but not essential Why join us?
