GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic SEN Primary Teacher to join a supportive school in Nottingham. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference by creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive and achieve their full potential.
As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will:
* Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with a range of SEN.
* Support children’s academic, social, and emotional development.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and parents to provide tailored support.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies that promote a positive learning environment.
* Monitor and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching as required.
* Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, child protection, and welfare.
Requirements for SEN Primary Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Previous teaching experience within a primary SEN or mainstream setting.
* Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
