Responsibilities
* Ensure the effective delivery of projects and tasks from concept and design, leading a project through to completion, which may involve assembly, testing, analysis and report creation.
* Take a lead role in projects, including planning and budgeting.
* Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the project plan and keep project progress up to date.
* Produce technical documents, reports and presentations for both internal and external use (work instructions, job packs, etc.).
* Represent Encocam, or associated BU, for external communication as the expert in the associated area, including technical committees, customer meetings and conferences.
* Provide technical support to sales, customers and production. Ensure a close working relationship with sales ensuring that customer needs are met.
* Research and investigate technologies and processes to ensure that the Company remains aware of latest developments.
* Ensure effective communication and coordination with customers and suppliers.
* Ensure technical specifications are available for all relevant project and production equipment/materials.
* Ensure that development work is reported and stored in the Technical Library.
* Identify and source regulations and standards to support product development.
* Analyse and interpret data, identify trends and anomalies that help steer development as part of the product development cycle.
* Create and review test reports and Certificates of Conformity.
* Deliver engineering designs, taking method of manufacturing into account.

* Any additional work identified as necessary for the smooth operation of the business.
