History Teacher (Full-Time) – Secondary School

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Lytham St Annes on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking department.
The Role
* Deliver engaging and high-quality History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Manage behaviour effectively, maintaining high expectations at all times
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Strong subject knowledge in History
* Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* A passion for education and a commitment to student progress
