Year 5 Teacher – Primary School Supply (Welwyn Garden City) We are working with a welcoming primary school in Welwyn Garden City who are seeking a Year 5 Teacher to provide supply cover for next half term. Location: Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire * Parking available * Very close to Welwyn Garden City train station with excellent links from North London Start Date: 23rd February 2026 End Date: 27th March 2026 Contract: Supply (agency) Pay: Paid to scale Hours: Monday to Friday The Role: * Full class teaching responsibility for a Year 5 class * Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum * Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment * Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning The Ideal Candidate Will: * Hold QTS (or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification) * Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5 * Be reliable, adaptable, and confident managing a classroom * Be available for the full duration of the assignment This is a great short-term opportunity in a well-located school with strong transport links and supportive staff.
