We are hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Med-Trans. This technician will support our EC130 airframe, ensuring the fleet is maintained safely and efficiently to provide high-quality transportation services, patient care, and customer service.
Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular updates to the Lead Technician.
* Manage inventory checks, update equipment logs, request replacements, and document part expenditures.
Ensure all service paperwork and FAA information are accurately documented and adhere to company policies and security standards. Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the maintenance team and flight crew. Communicate effectively with departments, vendors, and team members to coordinate efforts. Collaborate professionally with health and safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and operations staff.
Minimum Required Qualifications
* Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience, including at least six months within the last 24 months.
* Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
* High School diploma or GED.
* EC130 maintenance experience.
* Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
* Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and planning.
* Residency within one hour of the base.
* Ability to push/pull 100+ lbs. and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
* FAA Inspection Authorization Certification.
* Experience under CFR Part 135.
* Autopilot maintenance experience.
* Avionics and electrical repair skills.
* Experience with EC130 T2/B4 models.
