Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
* Assist in the planning and development of new menu items, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a restaurant or similar culinary setting is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
* A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business.
* Must have level 1 and Level 2
