Consultant Gastroenterologist Northampton Fixed-Term Rate: Negotiable Start: ASAP We are currently seeking an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to support an established NHS service. This role requires a confident and autonomous consultant with strong experience in both gastroenterology and endoscopy, able to contribute fully to outpatient, inpatient, and procedural services. About the Role Deliver consultant-led gastroenterology outpatient clinics Provide specialist input for inpatients with complex GI conditions Perform and independently report diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures Participate in MDT meetings and contribute to service development Apply evidence-based practice to ensure high-quality patient care Essential Requirements Full GMC registration with Licence to Practise Entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Gastroenterology (or within 6 months of CCT, if substantive) Significant experience in upper and lower GI endoscopy Ability to work independently at consultant level Strong clinical judgement and communication skills Desirable Experience in advanced endoscopy procedures Involvement in audit, research, or service development Why Apply?
