About the Opportunity:
Develop reliable software for manufacturing rigs and internal R&D tooling
Implement complex mathematical and numerical algorithms for high‑accuracy sensing
Improve test, DevOps, and development infrastructure
Help define system requirements and actively contribute to architecture decisions
Write quality code backed by meaningful testing
Participate in design reviews and influence best practices
Take ownership of projects and deliver solutions end‑to‑end
Collaborate across engineering, science, and hardware teams
About Your Talent:

Solid Python and JavaScript experience
Background in hardware‑related products (instrumentation, automation, manufacturing, etc.)
Strong understanding of data handling, visualisation, or numerical methods
Comfortable with CI/CD, Git, and modern DevOps tools
Some UI/UX awareness for tool interfacesInterest in science, sensing technologies, and solving practical engineering problems
Great extras: signal processing, electronics, ML in engineering workflows, GenAI coding tools
What's On Offer:
Salary: £60,000 to £75,000 - Servomex considers several factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Location: Crowborough, East Sussex (hybrid three days/week) during the initial settling months, four days onsite will be required.
