Static Fire Alarm Service Engineer – Trinity Fire & Security Systems, Bicester
Location: Bicester
Salary: Competitive base salary + uncapped Engineer commission scheme

Responsibilities
* Effectively communicate with customers to ensure a good understanding of system and site status.
* Liaise with service administrators and other internal stakeholders to ensure our service commitments are met.
* Work to a planned service and maintenance schedule. Issue remedial repairs and minor additions to existing installations in line with service administration guidance.
* Identify and resolve faults, providing outstanding customer service.
Systems you will work with
* Fire – Gent, Notifier, Advanced, Protec & other open protocol/conventional systems
* CCTV – HikVision, Avigilon, Dahua
* Intruder – Galaxy, Texecom
* Access Control – Paxton, Honeywell, Gallagher
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Experience in servicing and maintaining fire systems to relevant British Standards.
* Ability to identify all types of cable associated with fire detection and security systems, and to correctly test and terminate the cable ends in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions.
* A logical approach to system fault diagnosis and rectification.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA).
Technical Knowledge
* Understand the basic building services to test cause and effect of fire alarm interfaces.
* Comprehensive understanding of causes and cures of fire problems, including recommending changes to practices and processes that may cause false alarms.
* Ability to recommend changes to systems.
