Health and Safety Manager
Blackburn, Castleford – Permanent
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Responsibilities
* Provide health and safety leadership across multiple sites.
* Write risk assessments and method statements and approve construction phase plans.
* Conduct site audits and oversee corrective actions.
* Lead incident response, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
* Deliver health and safety inductions and training.
* Support internal audits to maintain ISO 9001 compliance.
Qualifications
* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
* Previous experience of auditing to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
* A background in a similar role, ideally gained in construction, facilities management, engineering or equivalent environment and across multiple sites.
* Outstanding communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and make changes.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to meet the needs of the business.
