What is the opportunity?
The Strategy & Transformation team in Europe supports Capital Markets by working closely with business partners and functional teams to help enable change by executing and supporting business-driven transformation.
This role is strategically important in driving business transformation and ensuring regulatorypliance, ultimately contributing to the long-term success of RBC Capital Markets ("CM").
We are looking for an eager and high-performing individual to work on regulatory and strategic projects within our group, as well as manage the New Businessmittee ("NBC") process, with a focus on delivering impactful business oues. In addition to supporting the broader team, this role will have the unique opportunity to gain exposure to every business and control function within RBC Capital Markets, and to work directly with senior CM leaders by managing the full end-to-endernance of the Europe NBC, as well as supporting ongoing efforts to establish clear and concise reporting.
What will you do?
1. Develop key relationships within the Business, Functions, and across RBC segments, to execute on deliverables
2. Act as secretary for the Europe NBC and manage all activities related to NBC processes, including (but not limited to) coordinating meetings, setting the NBC meeting agenda with global counterparts, and responsibility for any audit (internal/ external) and relevant regulatory adherence requirements
3. Work across cross-functional teams to deliver results, triage issues, and drive progress across relevant projects and / or NBC submissions
4. Contribute to the preparation of meeting materials, such as Working Groups, Steeringmittee, Executivemittee and / or Monthly Prioritisation Meeting meetings, as well as other regularly scheduled forums
5. For relevant projects, support program status reporting, ensure that project plans are maintained / on track to meet project milestones, facilitate issue resolution/escalation, manage interdependencies and ensure the accurate maintenance of the RAID log, as appropriate
6. Work with third party suppliers/consultants as required to deliver on objectives
7. Provide leadership and direction to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
8. Support ad-hoc reporting and strategic projects in support of broader COO Office and / or CM Europe objectives
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
9. Undergraduate university degree in Business, Finance or a related field or similar/equivalent
10. MBA or relevant professional designation strongly preferred
11. Extensive program management experience with a demonstrated track record of leadership, problem-solving, and relationship management
12. Conflicts and issues resolution and escalation
13. Strongmunication skills, both verbal and written
14. Strong knowledge of Capital Markets products/services and processes
15. Ability to collaborate, partner with senior business stakeholders, project managers and team members
16. Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups), PowerPoint (strong storyboarding of executive presentations), and Visio (process flows)
17. A passion for learning

18. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified.
