Commissioning Manager - Client SideLondon, UK£600 - £700 per dayThe OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join our client-side project delivery team in London. This is a key role overseeing the full commissioning lifecycle on complex, high-value building projects, working on behalf of the asset owner to ensure systems are delivered safely, compliantly, and perform exactly as intended.You will act as the client’s technical authority for commissioning, providing leadership, governance, and assurance across all MEP systems from design through to handover and soft landings.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the commissioning strategy across the project lifecycleReview design documentation to ensure commissionability and operational performanceOversee and challenge main contractors, MEP contractors, and commissioning specialistsOwn the commissioning programme, method statements, and test scriptsChair commissioning meetings and manage progress, risk, and issue resolutionEnsure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and client requirementsManage integrated testing, witnessing, snagging, and system sign-offOversee O&M manuals, training, and handover to facilities/operations teamsSupport soft landings and post-handover performance validationAbout YouProven experience as a Commissioning Manager on large, complex projectsStrong client-side, consultant, or principal contractor backgroundExcellent understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, controls, life safety)Confident managing multiple stakeholders and holding contractors to accountStrong planning, reporting, and technical assurance skillsExperience on data centres, commercial developments, healthcare, or major infrastructure projects is highly desirableWhat’s on OfferClient-side role with genuine influence and authorityHigh-profile London-based projectsCompetitive salary and benefits packageLong-term career progression within a growing delivery team Location: London
