Job Description
BallyCara is seeking Caring, Compassionate and Experienced Assistant in Nursing (AIN) staff, who want to make a difference by providing Quality resident care and support.
Working under the direction of the Registered Nurse, the Assistant in Nursing (AIN) is responsible for aiding in the smooth running of Residential Care by assisting in all areas of activities of daily living and personal care in accordance with the resident's needs, values, and preferences. You understand the importance of the impact you can make through your relationships with our residents.
We can offer Permanent Part-time shifts or casual shifts across the seven-day week, to suit your work-life balance, for the right candidates.
Desired Skills and Experience
Successful applicants will be/hold:
* Passionate and have prior experience in caring for residents in an aged care environment
* Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including an ability to communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their family members in a compassionate and empowering manner.
* Comfortable with using mobile devices or computers
* Strength to cope with the physical demands of this position
* Kind, positive, and compassionate
* Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
* Desirable Experience or training in dementia
* Flexibility to work various areas of residential shifts which may include weekends, evenings, mornings, and afternoons
