We’re currently recruiting for an IT Support Analyst to join our IT team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for providing initial first line support for all users of company applications, devices, and services.
This is a genuine hybrid working role – you will work from home and from the office based in Northampton, alternating 3 weeks of working from home with 3 weeks at our HUB head office on a rota. Work is shift‑based; the earliest shift starts at 7 am and the latest finishes at 5:30 pm. Weekends are from home, 8 am to 1 pm.
What you’ll do
* Provide first‑line support for all users of company applications, devices and services, following confirmed procedures and agreed Service Level Agreements.
* Use skilful questioning to rapidly identify the nature and severity of reported faults.
* When appropriate, attempt to resolve issues while the user remains on the phone.
* Escalate faults when necessary and collaborate with internal support teams to achieve resolution.
* Accurately record all fault information on the Help Desk call‑logging system.
* Update users on the progress of faults and provide advice on suitable next steps.
Is this you?
* Experience in a previous customer service or support role, preferably telephone‑based.
* Strong telephone and PC skills, using a variety of office software packages.
* Good analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem solving.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Great listening skills and the ability to multitask.
Please note this position involves shift work including evenings and weekends on a rota basis, so you must be able to accommodate these hours.
