An established consultancy in central Birmingham is seeking a Project Manager to deliver a range of commercial and mixed-use developments. The Project Manager will play a key role in delivering projects for private and public sector clients across the West Midlands. This is an ideal role for a Project Manager looking to take on more responsibility in a growing team.
The Project Manager will manage schemes from inception through to completion, reporting to senior leadership. To be successful in this role, the Project Manager must have prior consultancy experience. The Project Manager will gain exposure to major schemes while supporting junior colleagues and leading client interaction.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will deliver projects typically valued between £10m-£50m, with duties including:
Managing full project lifecycle from feasibility to delivery
Client liaison and stakeholder coordination
Programme, cost and risk management
Contract administration (JCT and NEC)
Preparing and presenting reports
Leading consultant and contractor teams
Supporting business development and internal project systems
The Project Manager
3-5 years in a consultancy environment
Degree qualified and working towards or recently chartered (MRICS/MAPM)
Strong knowledge of contract forms and construction processes
Excellent communication and leadership potential
Experience delivering office, residential or public sector projects
