We are looking for a Motor Vehicle technician to provide support for the Department for STEM within the area of Motor Vehicle and Construction as and when needed. Maintaining health and safety of the department and supporting the teaching team to ensure workshops area professional working space. About the Role In this role, you will: •Ensure a safe working environment whilst students are within the Motor Vehicle area, and in Construction as and when needed. •Support the carrying out of safety checks on a regular basis and keeping appropriate records. •Support the upkeep and maintenance of equipment. •Ensure the unserviceable equipment is removed from use and repaired or replaced as quickly as possible. •Assist the teaching staff by preparing the workshops in accordance with their requirements.
