External Works Manager - Residential Development
Location: Epsom, Surrey (KT18)
Salary: £58,000 - £68,000 + package (DOE)
Start Date: Immediate
An established Main Contractor is looking to appoint an External Works Manager for a major residential project in Epsom. This role will oversee drainage, utilities, hard & soft landscaping and associated external packages from substructure through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing drainage, utilities and external works packages
Coordinating hard & soft landscaping contractors
Monitoring progress against programme
Managing QA and inspections with NHBC/Building Control
Coordinating subcontractors and daily site activities
Reviewing drawings, specifications and design details
Carrying out site inspections and quality checks
Attending progress meetings and contractor briefings
Supporting health & safety compliance across external works Requirements:
Experience managing external works on large residential schemes
Strong understanding of drainage, utilities and landscaping
Procore/software experience preferred
Ability to read drawings and monitor technical compliance
SMSTS & CSCS essential
Temporary Works / First Aid advantageous Package:
£58k-£68k DOE
