Maths Teacher Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join the school from April. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching A-level Maths depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Support students in their learning journey, fostering a positive classroom environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching strategies.
* Participate in school events and extracurricular activities as required.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
* Experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to continuous professional development.
Desirable:
* Experience teaching GCSE-level Mathematics.
* Familiarity with current educational practices and methodologies.
