* Lead Ofgems debt advisory work across all areas of the organisation, providing outstanding financeand creditriskadvice to policy and other teams.
* Provide thought leadership on keydebt and finance abilityissues for Ofgem,including input intoOfgems financial resilience work across the organisation.
* Be the focal point and expert in amulti-disciplinary team ina specific work area inthe context of operating inaProfessions and Flexible Resourcingmodel.
* Plan, oversee and deliver a set of work deliverables on time and to a high standard through effectiveprojectmanagementand support of multidisciplinary team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Outputs and Deliverables
* Lead on debtadvisory across Ofgem, including on network price controls, the retail sector, and new sectors such as regulated nuclear and CCUS.Leadregular engagement with rating agencies and City analysts.
* Provide expertanalysisrelating to financingrequired to support the development of competitive regimes for offshore and onshore transmissionand other discrete infrastructure projectsand for new retail financing models.
* Be the focal point fortechnical advicein Ofgemrelating to cost of debt,derivatives,gearing, rating agencies, finance ability;
* Support Regulatory Finance in its work on financial resilienceand credit assessmentsof all companies in the GB energy sector.
* Support investor relations team, external regulatorliaisonand the CEO Private Office asappropriate intheir communications with external stakeholders.
* Work with modelling team to refine Price Control Financial Model and other models to correctly implement policies and to answer stakeholder queries;
* Procureand manage projectsdelivered byexternaladvisors andconsultants;
* Write policy documents ondebt and financing issuesand general Regulatory Finance issues to inform senior management, GEMAcommitteeandotherpartiesas necessary.
