Job Description:
Our client, known locally as an employer of choice, is recruiting an HR Coordinator to join their well-established firm.
Job Duties:
1. Support the recruitment process, including posting ads, screening candidates, and reference checks.
2. Issue employment contracts, offer letters, and correspondence to staff.
3. Manage the new employee induction process and support during the initial employment period.
4. Manage employee probation periods, tracking progress and performance with managers.
5. Manage employee welfare programs and foster employee engagement.
6. Support management in dealing with long- and short-term absences.
7. Address day-to-day HR queries from employees and management promptly and professionally.
8. Develop employee communication through various mediums, e.g., company newsletter.
9. Review and update HR policies, procedures, and the Employee Handbook.
10. Represent HR on cross-functional teams and support administrative areas including Performance Management.
11. Develop, manage, and report on HR KPIs.
12. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Criteria:
1. Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar HR role.
2. Attained CIPD qualification or equivalent.
3. Good knowledge of employment law and HR practices.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
