Reporting to: QHSE Compliance Manager Purpose of Function: To ensure Hurst Doors is compliant with Health and Safety Legislation and operates within a safe working environment under the guidelines of IOSH and ISO 45001. Purpose of Role: To manage all Health & Safety Systems, Processes and Personnel including Occupational Health. Deliverables * To establish and maintain a Safety Management System that is compliant with ISO 45001. * To work with all areas of the business to ensure that we operate within the latest Health and Safety Legislation. * To report progress against H&S KPI’s and develop improvements in all areas of H&S. * Maintain the Maintenance Management system with both internal and external providers. * Co-ordinate and maintain the Training Management System * Co-ordinate and maintain the Occupational Health System * Conduct operation risk assessments and design risk mitigation measures. * Manage Emergency Evacuation and reporting procedures. * Oversee External Safety inspections and liaise with all internal stakeholders to ensure compliance. * Oversee Internal Safety inspections, log and report all actions. * Ensure unsafe behaviours are challenged and unsafe conditions are reported and actioned. * Ensure accident investigations are carried out in a timely and thorough manner by the appropriate line manager. * Co-ordinate First Aider and Fire Warden activitie...
