A top insurance litigation team is looking to appoint an experienced Solicitor (Senior Associate level) to join its highly regarded London practice.
This is an opportunity to work alongside market-leading lawyers on some of the most complex and high-value coverage and property damage matters.
Complex coverage experience wanted
You will join a specialist team handling high-profile coverage and liability disputes for major insurer clients. The work is intellectually challenging, often involving large-loss, multi-party claims with technical and strategic complexity.
Alongside core coverage and liability work, there is also exposure to some subrogated recovery matters, offering a well-rounded and varied caseload.
More about the work
* Managing your own caseload (depending on experience) and supporting on major loss matters
* Advising on coverage, liability, quantum and litigation strategy
* Drafting detailed advice to insurer clients on complex issues
* Assisting partners on high-value and technically challenging claims
* Instructing counsel and experts
* Conducting investigations and analysing evidence
* Attending client meetings, mediations, and settlement discussions
* Drafting court documents and applications

Candidate profile
Our client is always interested in hearing from good candidates. Ideally, you should:
* Be a qualified Solicitor with strong experience in coverage and liability disputes
* Have a background in property damage or insurance litigation
* Be confident managing and mentoring junior members of the team
* Strong analytical skills and ability to handle complex, technical matters
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
