Corporate Legal Counsel - Private Equity - Based in Malta

This Corporate Lawyer position will form part of a newly created team within a reputable and large Private Equity house operating on a global scale. Different than your traditional private equity firm, this company focuses on operational improvement, offering tremendous exposure for a UK/English corporate law specialist or corporate transactional lawyer to form part of this newly created team, based out of the Malta entity.
In this role, you will provide ongoing support on complex private equity transactions, as well as handling ongoing corporate governance on behalf of the investment group and within portfolio companies, offering highly dynamic exposure with ample growth opportunities internally where there will be career growth opportunities on offer for motivated lawyers looking to step up in this newly formed team.

You will:
* Advise on transactional and non-transactional matters related to corporate law, debt and equity financing;
* Draft, review and negotiate contractual agreements and contracts;
* Manage ongoing corporate governance matters;
* Support the team on larger projects, and complex cross-border transactions
Experience:
* Law Degree from UK desired, no need to be qualified solicitor
* 1-4 years PQE, preferably from a corporate advisory practice
* Excellent communication skills in English
Salary / Remuneration: EUR 50,000 – 60,000 DOE
