Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated General Science Teacher to join secondary schools in the Great Yarmouth area. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire curiosity and a love of learning across Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Beginning ASAP.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the science disciplines in line with the national curriculum.
* Use practical experiments and investigations to develop students’ scientific enquiry skills.
* Differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities and learning needs.
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
* Maintain a safe and well-organised laboratory environment.
* Contribute to department planning and whole-school initiatives, including extracurricular science activities and trips.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge across the three sciences.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a General Science Teacher.
* Ability to inspire, motivate and engage students of all abilities.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
