Experienced Social Worker – Wrexham Children Services (All Age Disability Team)

Social Work qualification must be held.

We are looking to recruit an experienced, committed, creative and resilient Social Worker to support our continuous improvement journey towards best practice, evidenced within our recent positive Inspection.

Wrexham County Borough Council has an exciting opportunity within Children Services.

The All Age Disability Team provides intervention and support to Children and Adults of any age who may have a diagnosed Learning Disability, Severe Physical Disability, and Multiple Disabilities with complex needs. Within the team, you will assess children and adults for eligible care and support needs. You will then work in partnership with citizens to deliver on their personal outcomes through Information, advice, and assistance or through formal commissioning arrangements. Within Children’s, you will also undertake child protection cases when and as required. Within Adults, you will also lead on safeguarding concerns and support citizens to achieve their best possible outcomes. You will work in a multi-agency team and have the opportunity to develop within specific specialisms.
