Salary:
Up to £37,630, dependent on skills and experience.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Drafting, reviewing, revising, and proofreading a wide variety of contracts and supporting contract negotiations under the supervision of solicitors.
2. Assisting in implementing internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
3. Developing, updating, and maintaining contract templates, forms, and guidelines.
4. Drafting and updating training materials and supporting training delivery on various topics.
5. Conducting legal research and communicating findings to the Legal team and business stakeholders.
6. Providing written and verbal advice to Commercial and Supply Chain teams on contractual and legal matters.
7. Managing administrative tasks for the Legal team and assisting with contract administration.
Your skills and experiences:
* Currently holds an English Law Qualification—Law Degree, Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), or CILEX qualification.
* Significant paralegal or commercial contracting experience demonstrating sound knowledge of contractual law.

Maritime and Land Defence Solutions Legal Team:
You will join a team of experienced Solicitors supporting Bids, Contracts, Compliance, and Governance in a dynamic role. Collaboration with team members and senior stakeholders across the organization will be essential, often on complex projects. Building professional relationships with key stakeholders is crucial. The business provides products and services such as radar, autonomous systems, ship support, and munitions to UK and overseas customers.
