Business Systems & Transformation Analyst – Safran Actuation Systems UK
Safran Actuation Systems UK is a world‑class centre for the design, manufacture and support of actuation and flight‑control solutions. The Business Systems & Transformation team supports the Actuations GBU by enabling data‑driven decisions.
Core Responsibilities
* Data Architecture & Strategic Insight
o Architecting Visual Solutions – Design and implement robust Tableau dashboards that map complex data structures to deliver high‑value business insights.
o Digital Transformation – Deploy next‑generation data tools aligned with the company’s long‑term Digital Strategy.
o Infrastructure Optimization – Rationalise and simplify the existing data toolset across the Actuation division to improve system performance and user adoption.
* Automation & Systems Integration
o Process Engineering – Develop sophisticated process automations to eliminate manual bottlenecks and enhance transactional efficiency.
o Software Collaboration – Partner with the Senior Software Integration Engineer to support the end‑to‑end lifecycle of bespoke application development.
o System Integrity & Sustaining Engineering – Ensure high availability and performance of existing reporting suites, proactively monitor data pipelines and visualization tools, and resolve bottlenecks to maintain a robust environment for business users.
* Leadership & Methodology
o Cross‑Functional Synergy – Collaborate with Enterprise Data and Advanced Structures teams to standardise best practices and ensure data integrity.
o Stakeholder Management – Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal business units and external partners.
Technical Competencies
* Visualization – Deep expertise in Tableau for building interactive, high‑impact dashboards.
* Software Development – .NET knowledge to support existing Web applications.
* Database Management – SQL knowledge for complex data extraction and transformation.
* Automation – Proficiency in process automation and legacy system integration.
* Analysis – Strong background in data analytics.
