What You’ll Do: Write clean, maintainable code and review your own and others’ work to keep quality high. Investigate technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and work with teammates to find solutions. Learn from senior engineers and teammates, taking ownership of your growth and skill development. Participate in Agile ceremonies like standups, retrospectives and initiatives to improve process and product quality in pursuit of excellence A ssist in the development of user manuals or technical guidance and work with product team to learn and understand pro duct challenges and opportunities. Understand and identify risks and communicate them early, whether technical or project- related, with guidance from senior team members. Design, develop, test, and implement high-quality software as a member of an A gile development team, creating solutions that exceed customer expectations Perform production system support, new application development, and third-party application customization. Organize software development efforts following software development best practices and principles. Contribute updates to change management documentation when systems or processes evolve. Break larger tasks into smaller pieces and help manage your own work across projects. Help build testing plans and follow schedules to make sure releases are reliable and high-quality. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years equivalent experience in computer science, management information systems, GIS or another relevant field. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a software developer. Familiarity with programming languages and technologies such as JavaScript, .Net web development, HTML/CSS, SQL, basic Python scripting A solid foundation of software development fundamentals Our most successful team members have a proactive approach to their work and enjoy collaborating with small teams Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, and a lifelong learner Strong communication both written and verbal to internal and external stakeholders Preferred experience includes exposure to local government operations (county and municipal), particularly, land assessment and taxation, infrastructure and asset management.
