Permanent - full time or part time available (Mon-Fri). Hybrid working with a mixture of remote and assessment centre work.

Overview
You will work autonomously to assess claimants applying for Work Capability Assessments (WCA) as part of the DWP Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). Assessments may cover a broad range of health conditions, with some assessments conducted remotely.
An in-depth, fully paid training programme is provided, and the role counts towards your clinical hours to maintain your registration.

Responsibilities
* Use clinical experience to work with individuals with diverse health conditions, understanding how their challenges and disability affect daily life
* Conduct detailed, meaningful assessments (telephone, video, or face-to-face) in office or home settings
* Interpret medical evidence and compile findings into a comprehensive report to support DWP decision-making
Requirements
* We can only accept applications from Occupational Therapists for this vacancy
* HCPC registration is required
* At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience; UK experience is essential
* Proactive, keen to learn and receptive to feedback
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously; IT competency is essential
