Hendersons Travel in Hawick requires a Retail Travel Consultant for part-time maternity cover 3 days per week on a fixed-term contract from 27th July 2026 to 27th August 2027. An identical maternity cover position is also available on full-time hours and is listed separately. Two part-time contracts at 4 days per week each may be also considered as an alternative. Hendersons Travel has been serving the community of Hawick’s leisure travel needs for almost six decades. We offer holidays, cruises and flight-only bookings, as well as an in-store currency exchange bureau. Although our agency is locally owned and managed alongside sister branch Kelso Travel in Kelso, we operate as part of the Hays Travel Independence Group, benefiting from the buying power, resources and advanced technology of the UK's largest travel agency company. The successful candidate will sell travel, insurance and foreign currency with the enthusiasm, commitment and passion for customer care that characterises our business.
