<p>We are an established group of companies, led by Touker Suleyman (<em>BBC Dragons Den</em>), which includes brands such as Ghost and Finery London.</p><p>You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of our SEO strategy for Ghost Fashion and Finery London, covering both Technical and Content-focused deliverables, as well as reporting and insights.</p><p>This is a hands-on role reporting into the Chief Digital Officer. Onsite, you will have a Senior SEO Manager to consult with when needed.</p><h3>Job responsibilities:</h3><ol><li>Execute and deliver SEO strategies</li><li>Manage SEO for Shopify, including handling 404 pages and redirects</li><li>Perform on-page and off-page optimisation: keyword research, competitor analysis, optimizing title tags, meta descriptions, and content</li><li>Collaborate with the Marketing Team and Content Writer to implement SEO strategies</li><li>Monitor Google updates and algorithm changes</li><li>Research and recommend SEO updates for existing ecommerce content</li><li>Utilize SEO tools such as Semrush and Google Search Console</li><li>Manage link-building campaigns</li><li>Conduct technical audits to identify crawl issues and improve site speed</li><li>Optimize Shopify website architecture, including robots.txt, meta tags, and canonical tags to prevent duplicate content and enhance crawl efficiency</li><li>Optimize meta descriptions, titles, headings (H1-H3), and image alt texts</li></ol><h3>Qualifications/Skillsets:</h3><ul><li>Marketing or business-related degree</li><li>Minimum of 2 years SEO experience, preferably within an agency or retail, with a focus on fashion retail</li><li>Strong technical SEO knowledge</li><li>At least 2 years experience in content and keyword strategy development and execution</li><li>Experience with GA4, GSC, Semrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools</li><li>Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel</li></ul><h3>Seniority level</h3><ul><li>Entry level</li></ul><h3>Employment type</h3><ul><li>Full-time</li></ul><h3>Job function</h3><ul><li>Analysis and Marketing</li></ul><h3>Industry</h3><ul><li>Retail</li></ul>
