Cover Teacher – Axminster
Contract Type: Full-Time / Long-Term
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a flexible and motivated Cover Teacher to support a secondary school in the Axminster area. This is a full-time role, providing classroom cover across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced teacher seeking variety, or a ECT looking for experience.
As a Cover Teacher, you will:
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Ensure students remain on task and engaged with their learning.
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Provide feedback to the relevant subject teachers on student progress and behaviour.
* Adapt to different subjects and classes throughout the school day.

We are seeking someone who:
* Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) desirable but not essential.
* Has strong communication and classroom management skills.
* Can build positive relationships with students and staff.
* Is flexible, reliable, and confident across a range of subjects.
* Is committed to supporting the progress and wellbeing of young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
