Health and Safety Administrator Job Role: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health & Safety (H&S) Administrator for our well-established manufacturing client near Stamford. The successful applicant will assist the H&S team in maintaining and promoting a safe working environment across all operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background who is passionate about workplace health and safety. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the Health & Safety team, including document control and record keeping. Maintain H&S databases, registers, and training records (e.g., inductions, risk assessments, incident reports). Assist in preparing reports, audits, and compliance documentation. Track and monitor safety incidents, ensuring timely follow-up and closure. Support the investigation of accidents and near misses by compiling documentation and tracking corrective actions. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams regarding H&S documentation and requirements. Maintain and update the H&S notice boards and communications.Key Requirements: Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a Health & Safety or compliance-focused environment. Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion. NEBOSH qualification essential. Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.Hours and pay: 38 hours per week Working Hours Monday to Thursday 7:30 to 4:30pm 30 mins lunch. Friday 7:30am to 11:30am Salary up to £15/hr DOE Bonus 36 days holiday per annum
