Shift Heating Ventilation Engineer
Hours
42 hours (12 hour shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off)

Role Responsibilities
* Interpret and make judgements across a wide range of issues, understanding the complexity of pre‑planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, unplanned events and emergencies while working in a controlled manner.
* Diagnose and repair faults in engineering, electrical and/or plumbing installations, plant and equipment, adapting to new situations as they arise and sharing knowledge with others.
* Deliver high standards of workmanship across complex systems and understand the relationship between mechanical and electrical systems.
* Actively monitor the CAFM system to ensure all tasks are assigned within appropriate timescales and issues are resolved proactively.
* Observe statutory requirements including health and safety, Electricity at Work Regulations, asbestos, legionella and COSHH regulations.
Required Qualifications
* Experience diagnosing and repairing faults across engineering, electrical and/or plumbing systems.
* NVQ level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or equivalent IOSH Working safely.
* Completion of a structured training programme in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering for a minimum of 3 years.
