Join our innovative team delivering remote occupational therapy services to children across Buckinghamshire's mainstream schools. The post holder will be involved in universal, targeted, and specialist service delivery to children who do and do not have an EHCP in mainstream settings. The post holder will support the remote delivery of universal, targeted, and specialist input to children attending mainstream schools across all settings and key stages via online delivery. This will include providing virtual advice sessions to schools and families in both individual and group formats.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage a remote caseload of children with and without EHCPs.
2. Deliver virtual therapy sessions and coaching to families and schools.
3. Provide specialist clinical input across all key stages.
4. Participate in evidence-based, multi-agency projects to develop OT services for children.
5. Develop resources to enhance the skills and confidence of professionals supporting children with OT needs.
6. Provide universal and targeted advice to parents and school practitioners within the SEND code of practice and service pathways.
7. Design and deliver training to parents and education practitioners.
8. Use specialist clinical skills to manage a caseload of children with OT needs remotely.
9. Offer online coaching to parents and education specialists.
10. Provide specialist knowledge to a wide range of professions and agencies within Buckinghamshire.
11. Undertake responsibilities as defined by the Operational Lead, Head of Service, or Team Leads.
12. Support high-quality service provision.
13. Liaise with health, education professionals, Buckinghamshire County Integrated SEND team, and tertiary centres.
14. Attend service meetings remotely and integrate into the service's clinical pathway.
