Overview
Qualified Nursery Assistants - Level 2 & 3. Primary schools are seeking EYFS practitioners for their Nursery/Reception year groups.
Responsibilities
* Build strong relationships with parents and other staff members.
* Plan and implement the daily routine in the room.
* Attend monthly staff meetings.
* Be aware of nursery standards and policies and ensure they are met.
* Be a key worker for up to 4 children and take responsibility for their records, learning and general care.
* Plan and prepare fun daily activities meeting the EYFS curriculum planning.
* Take observations on key children ensuring confidentiality.
* Ensure all children are happy, well cared for and their individual needs are met.
Qualifications
* Level 2 or 3 childcare certificate (or equivalent).
* DBS enhanced clearance.
* Good level of English (written and verbal).
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* 1-2 years previous nursery experience is an advantage.
Additional Details
* Hours: daily, part-time and full-time available (exact hours to be confirmed).
* This is a temporary position with a potential for permanent opportunities at a later date.
* Pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
